I love the concept behind Garage Mag. Im a girl, but I still enjoy reading it.

Btw, i hope you could have the Sole Survivor JC Tiuseco in the cover on one of your future issues. I actually bought the latest just ‘coz i found out he has an advertorial there. ;)

  14. Raven

  15. Adam

Hi! I really love the GarageMag. Unfortunately i wasn’t able to get the premiere issue. Is there any way that i could grab my own copy of the premiere? pls. email me on how to get it. Thank you

  16. bogy

    do you accept interns?

  17. Lui

I was going to get a copy of the October-November issue but when I was going to the December-January came out and I couldn’t find it anymore. Any chance I could get the past 2 issues? Let me know how.

I like the range you offer the readers. It’s a lot of help for us who are more likely to buy the stuff than the really outrageously-priced ones in that other magazine.

Hope the February-March comes out soon. More power!

  18. Harvey Troy Mercado

  22. hi! I just got your current issue & I found that your mag is superb! It’s really suit me, not unlike the other mag, It’s all all about sex..etc… I just wanna ask where I could buy all the previous issue??? I regrets not buying this before. Hope someone could tell me…thanks! :p

  23. Harvey Troy Mercado

Hey! First of all congratulations to your wonderful magazine. It is really AWESOME! I have not missed an issue since the first. I got my latest issue with Gerald Anderson on the cover, it says it is a double cover issue but mine got no cover of Enchong Dee. Just wondering? Anyways, the main reason I wrote this is because I got interested in one advertised bag (Human) with a price of 399. At that price, I thought that it is really a bargain and decided to buy one. I made the rounds of many (whew!) Human branches until I finally saw it. I was about to hand in my 399 php when the cashier told me that the price is 799 php. I told them that your magazine advertised it with a price of 399 php. She asked for the magazine and I proudly showed it. She called her supervisors over the phone and inform them of the problem. To my dismay, no consideration was given and stuck it out with the 799 price. Instead, they blamed the magazine for printing the wrong price tag. To avoid a futile argument, I decided to cancel my order and just told them that , had it was advertised with a price of 799 php, I would not bother to buy it anyway. If this thins happened in the U.S., I would have probably got the bag at the price of 399, no questions ask considering that it was not my fault for the pice confusion. But this is the Philippines, so why do I expect to be treated lie that. Anyways, just be careful with your research and proof- read your mag before you print out. You are still my magazine, dont worry. Hahahaha.

  24. garagethemag

We regret to inform that we currently are not accepting interns. Also, we have no job openings in the magazine.

    Thanks

    Hi.

I’m wondering if you can also feature basic grooming and personality enhancement for men. Progressively, we can also feature basic make-up application for men vis-a-vis fashion forward aspect. Perhaps we can explore that possible collaboration?

  30. christian

*sad* a few weeks back, i bought my first garage mag (with gerald on the cover) and was thrilled skimming through the magazine later that day. i am a big fashion fan. i believe fashion is one key we all need to utilize in order to reach our goal.

i really wish to have all the back issues i missed (hoping you may help me). by the way, your last issue is like a modern man’s summer survival kit. love the mag. keep it up and good job!!!

  31. Mark Anthony

I just like to inquire if the subscription for this magazine is all set? I learned that you had the premier launch last year and I decided to have your magazine as my personal collection; and this is the first time am doing this for a certain magazine, lol.. I just got thelast issue and I liked it very much and so I’d like to ask how I can get the previous copies from Jake on the cover…

Thanks. Should you have time, please response back to my email listed. Thanks.

  32. great mag! love the overall look and feel. are you open to contributors, specifically photographers?

  33. pacey

Hiya! I had always been a big fan of Garage since it’s first issue. Unfortunately, I’m from Bacolod and getting the latest copy seems to be a problem. The magazine comes out really late. I grab my copies almost two weeks from the last month of the issue. I hope subscription is an option. More Garage!

  34. I used to write for OK! magazine at Summit Media Publishing. Was wondering if you have any openings for Freelance writers, contributors, etc. Been a while since I wrote anything, I’m a quick study though. LOL.

    Thanks guys!

  42. Chris Louise

    How do I subscribe?

  43. Greetings!

It’s been 5 days since the month of August began but I haven’t seen in any magazine stand the latest issue of GARAGE. A few days earlier, I watched ASAP and saw Piolo endorsing it to the public. When I checked out the local book store, the mag is still unavailable. I’m so damn disappointed. What the hell is happening? Is somebody hoarding all those copies? Was it sold out already or there have been a delay in the delivery? One day when I’m heading to the office, I’m so surprised to see the 1st Anniversary Special, the last of its kind inside a mall in Mandaluyong City. At long last, I got one… whoohoo!
FYI, I’m so glad that a 100% Pinoy men’s fashion magazine was born here in our country where majority of the publications cater to the ladies (which is so unfair). This is what I’ve been waiting for a very very long time. It’s indeed a pleasure for all of us to read and see the innovative designs of the new generation couturiers not only the international ones but to get to know the very brilliant locals as well (Bang Pineda stands out!). Before, I just buy back issues of foreign men’s magazines (Details, GQ). Now, I always make sure that I won’t miss every issue of GARAGE (I do have the first six issues! ) If it’s possible to do subscription, why not? Besides, it helps me a lot since I work in the fashion retail industry.
GARAGE magazine definitely helped me a lot in terms of dressing up. You let me find my own niche, create my own style, build my own taste, develop the persona that I want to be, translate it in real life and let that persona be a total part of me forever… This is the right time for other people notice that drastic metamorphosis in me– from baduy, childish, messy kind of guy to a man exuding maturity, simplicity and elegance yet still edgy.
I wanna congratulate Mr. Marc Nicdao for a job well done. He’s my idol actually. No wonder why I wish to meet him in person coz I also once dreamed of becoming a great fashion photographer!
I wish you could feature in your next issue either for the months of October/November or December/January the S/S ’10 footwear of John Galliano, Hugo Boss, Dries Van Noten, Gucci, Versace, LV (all for their impeccable sandals); Mirahayasuhiro, Undercover, Juun J, Songzio, Kris Van Assche (all for their jaw-dropping hybrids of sneakers, sandals and boots); and even aerated oxfords (woven, perforated and cut-out details).
What are my favorite parts of the magazine? Of course, the MANUAL Personal Style (Sebastian Monroe rocks! I truly adore the way he dresses up) ELEMENTS (sad to say but lately, the selection of items that catch my attention are becoming fewer and fewer during the last few issues) and do not forget the never ending editorials as well.
I do hope that as time passes by, the layout of the magazine will continue to improve.
I wish you luck GARAGE! May you have more achievements and centuries to come provided that you would always keep our senses alive!

    ~gion :)

  44. anton

  46. Chris

    Hi. How can I subscribe?

  47. Francus

in your latest issue, theres a segment on Pedro shoes but no mention where it can be bought…

  48. GARAGE IS LOVE! So GQ-ish. Anyway I’d really love to see Bruno Alves on the cover [and maybe Patrick Ribbsaeter too]. I’m a college student girl who’s obsessed on men’s fashion that’s why I’m in love with this magazine, it’s a must-have for guys, REALLY! It’s like an instant queer eye for a straight guy 101 for them. It has everything they need, it’s so dandy yet rave-ish, I dunno how to describe it, it’s just phenomenal! I’m so proud that Philippines has this kind of magazine, it could match Details, VOLUME or even HOMME! I hope you can feature more of Galliano, Smalto, Energie, Kris Van Assche (specially the glads) and even the fun Walter Van Beirendonck. As for teen or young adult guys maybe Urban Outfitters, Ben Sherman, Paul Smith even the ol’ H&M (gotta love!). Lastly it’ll be really cute if you’ll feature Espadrilles or Paez, guys who wear it are just adorable!

    To GARAGE team,
keep inspiring and keep styling our men, your works are to die for!

hope I could be a part of your team when I graduate lol.

    love,
    TIFF T.

  49. Gapz

    Cheers! Nice magazine!
You guys are really doing a great job.
Helping a lot of people to look good and be more confident. Keep up the good work!
    God Bless!

  50. Gapz

    Cheers!
Good job guys for your magazine. You really helped a lot of guys out there to become more confident with their looks and personality. more power and god bless.

  51. josh

nice magazine… where can I grab your back issues?

  52. Allan

Hi. I’m planning to “upgrade” my style and thought I needed some help. So I went out to look for a magazine that could possibly help me with my small problem. After browsing through the magazines, I decided to buy a copy of your October-November 2009 issue Garage magazine. I said this is great since it focuses men’s style.

After browsing your magazine, I was disappointed because I thought most of the styles featured are not appropriate in the Philippines…especially the coats and accessories. And some of the outfits I feel are, no offense meant, only worn by effeminate gays. I’m sorry, I don’t intend to offend anybody.

My point is, I hope you could feature very nice and WEARABLE style for regular guys… and not to the point that you make guys look gays… (again, no offense meant)

    Thanks.

  53. I love GARAGE mag…I also love the staff. They are so friendly …T.Y. =)

  54. chad

    Hey guys!

I love Garage! I recently purchased the Jon Avila and Daniel issue. I have only one complaint- why were the editorial pics so dark? I could barely see the clothes and the gorgeous men wearing them.

I also wish that you would use more of our Pinoy models. I have nothing against the foreign models, the Brapanese are gorgeous, but I think Akihiro and Hideo are more than enough. There’s nothing remarkable about Daniel Matsunaga’s look. Come on! Garage is supposed to be a Philippine male fashion/style mag. I would like to suggest Quito Treñas, Trish Cuason, and their peers in your future issues.

  55. Hi there!

Thanks for publishing my “mail”….I just want to know on how can I claim my prize if there is any?

    Mark

Hi! I’m such a huge fan of your magazine since the very first issue which featured Jake Cuenca if I’m not mistaken.. I rank Garage magazine among other Fashion Bibles for men such as GQ & Esquire.. I would be more than thrilled to work for the magazine because I’m now living in a corporate prison and Fashion is the only thing that could help me break out of my cell. Please let me know if a job opportunity may be possible, it would be such a dream come true. Thanks.

I would just like to let you know the article entitled “In The Wake of a Storm, in the Lay of the Land” on your latest issue was not complete. I was trying to find the continuation story of that article on the given page but I wasn’t able to. It is an interesting article so it is such a waste for it not to be published completely.
